Sculptures

Each wire sculpture is built around a solid stainless steel rod which forms a mounting pole that extends beyond the wire sculpture for installation purposes.

The length of this rod is not included in the overall dimensions of each sculpture. Each mounting pole is 250 mm to 750 mm in length.

Where an alternative mount is required specific instructions are provided on the product pages.

Product safety

The wire sculptures are smooth and have few sharp edges, but the soft wire of the hair may have have sharp ends. Care should be taken when handling to avoid scratches.

Our wire sculptures are not toys and are not suitable for children.

The wire sculptures weight up to 20 kg. They may be an awkward shape and difficult to manoeuvre. Care should be taken when lifting and maneuvering to avoid injury.

You must ensure that the wire sculpture is secure in its setting. You will need to select a suitable location, allowing sufficient space to maneuver.

We recommend your wire sculpture is mounted into a concrete plinth or affixed to a wall or solid frame to ensure stability.

Ensure your chosen base is solid and securely located on a level surface before adding the wire sculpture.

Alternatively you can sink the base in the ground if you desire and they also work wonderfully hidden in plant pots.

Where a plinth is supplied this is sufficient for the sculpture to ensure it does not topple under normal conditions either indoors or outdoors. However, the wire sculpture should not be forcibly rocked or shaken to prevent injury.

All wire sculptures must be sited out of the reach of children and animals and away from eye level to avoid injury.
