    "The Artist"

    Hi, I'm Michelle. I have an office based job, but I love being outdoors, creating and designing, arts and crafts, photography, sculpting, walking...

    I love creating things, anything. I am the one who designs and makes the sculptures, takes the photos and knots the macrame.

    All the fun stuff.

    The images on the website are also all my own works (except the one above, I am rarely in front of the camera).

    "The Assistant"

    So, I'm Paul, I love walking too, rambling across the moors and reading science fiction and fantasy novels.

    "The Assistant" is a misnomer. I do the hard work whilst "The Artist" has all the fun. I assist in making the armatures for the sculptures, prepare the raw materials and make the resin products.

    I also run the business day-to-day: maintain the website, take orders, shipping, enquiries, stock, records, deliveries, chauffeur...

    Morgan is my photography muse, quite literally.

    He is a mischievous little man who loves to run.

    He has a knack for discovering the most fantastic views I would never have seen if not for following him along ill trodden trails.

    He keeps us on our toes and loves nothing better than to cuddle up after a long walk, food and tennis balls.

"The Business"

We are based on the beautiful South Devon coast and spend much of our spare time walking along the stunning coastal paths or hiking on Dartmoor.

The business came about through our ever expanding collection of sculptures, photographs and house plants and my love of arts and crafts.

We just don't have room for everything!

"The Name"

It took far longer to decide on the name than it did many of the products.

We incorporated as 'My Taylored Spaces Limited' which we love but for the website we wanted something more unique.

With spring right around the corner as we were setting up our garden started coming to life and all of our wonderful Acers began to unfurl their leaves.

The trading name created itself, it was the perfect fit:

Maple Tree Spaces is the trading name of My Taylored Spaces Limited a company incorporated in England and Wales, Company number 14642557 and Registered Office address 25 Southdowns Road, Dawlish, Devon, EX7 0LB.
